Our pre-booked animal experiences give you the chance to spend quality time with some of the wonderful animals here at Peaceful Pools.
From getting up close to our beautiful Highland cows to heading out with our Valais Blacknose sheep, our experiences are relaxed, personal and hands-on — giving you time to enjoy the animals without the crowds or rush of a traditional attraction.
Whether you're an animal lover, looking for a memorable day out, celebrating something special or simply fancy doing something a little different, we'd love to welcome you to the farm.
All visits are pre-booked and numbers are kept small, helping us make each experience feel personal and giving both our visitors and animals the time and space they deserve.
Highland Cow Experience
Ever dreamed of getting up close to a Highland cow?
This is your chance to meet our beautiful Highlands properly — not just admire them from the other side of a fence!
Spend time getting to know them, brushing their famous fluffy coats, taking photos and enjoying some wonderfully close encounters with these gentle, characterful animals.
Our Highland Cow Experiences are kept to small groups, making them relaxed and personal, with plenty of opportunity to interact with the cows and ask us all about them.

Valais Blacknose Sheep Experience
Meet the sheep often described as the cutest in the world!
Our beautiful Valais Blacknose sheep are every bit as friendly and full of character as they look. Spend time getting to know them up close before heading out for a walk together through the beautiful West Wales countryside surrounding the farm.
This isn't about rushing from A to B — it's a relaxed experience with plenty of time for fuss, photos and getting to know their individual personalities along the way.
Whether you're already a Valais fan or have never met one before, they're very good at winning people over!
